The devices also pose a physical risk if riders lose their balance. In December, a London teenager died when he fell off his hoverboard into the path of an oncoming bus, according to U.K. reports. So far, hoverboards have caused countless injuries for their riders due to their unstable nature and the high incidence of people falling off.     Pat summer was one of the most inspiring and most wonderful people in sports history. Today we learned that Pat Summitt, a Hall of Fame, former Coach of the Year and the winningest coach in NCAA basketball history, died at 64 after a battle with early onset dementia. Summitt, who coached the University of Tennessee Lady Volunteers for 38 seasons and won 8 national titles along with 1,098 wins and only about 200 losses battled dementia with grace and dignity. Summitt was diagnosed with early onset dementia in 2011 and her declining health forced her to step down from her position a year later. During her illustrious career as a coach, she served as one of the great ambassadors of women’s basketball and a dear mentor to thousands of women athletes across the globe.  As a player, Summit won the silver medal with Team USA at the Montreal Olympics in 1976. In 2012, Summit was the recipient of the Presidential Medal of Freedom and the Arthur Ashe Courage Award at the ESPY Awards. Not only will it be hard to ever come near matching her winning record, it will be impossible to match her drive, work ethic and positive influence she had on thousands of individuals who came in contact with her. Even recently, Summit encouraged other individuals with Alzheimer’s to not be afraid of it.
