Senior balance exercises are not only an important component of improving balance and preventing fun, but they can also be FUN! Please see http://www.exerciseforbalance.com/buy-now Do you remember the popular game of TAG that we used to play as kids? Tag is a lively game played on the playground, backyard and even times on an empty neighborhood street, that involves one or more players chasing other players in an attempt to “tag” or touch them, usually with their hand. In the game of Tag, the player who is selected to be “it” then chases the others, attempting to get close enough to tag them—touching them with a hand—while the others try to escape. When one player is touched, that makes the tagged player “it” – in some variations, the previous “it” is no longer “it” and the game can continue indefinitely, while in others, both players remain “it” and the game ends when all players have become “it”.
Fun Senior Balance Exercises
Senior balance exercises can be fun, reminding of us of great play times with brothers, sisters, cousins and neighbors from times long ago. For instance, if we remember the game of Tag, we can remember who sharp our balance abilities were in our youth. The most important aspect of the game of Tag is that it is fun and it promoted movement. While engaging in Tag, players run full speed, stop, start, change directions, duck weave and make all sorts of movements to avoid being tagged. The game of Tag demonstrated exceptional balance skills that need to be dusted off in our later years. For those folks sixty years and older, we may not be up to a full speed game of Tag, but we could improve our stability with appropriate senior balance exercises.
