The golfer must have the ability to maintain his stability over the ball as he moves thorough a dynamic motion of shifting his weight. If those components of stability and mobility are not coordinated in a smooth tempo, then there is a high risk of  an uneven swing tempo, which makes it more difficult to square up the club face at impact.
