   Snowboarder Sorin Radu learned the hard way that having good balance and practicing balance exercises on a regular basis just might save your live. Radu was snowboarding down Papusa Mountain in Gorj, when the ground beneath his feet literally began to crumble and give way. The view from his GoPro camera showed the avalanche taking shape beneath his snow board.  Radu, a mountain rescue volunteer and snow sports instructor, was tossed about as the avalanche occurred. Miraculously, he was able to survive and ride out the avalanche, using every fiber of strength and every balance technique possible.        Not all of us are going to venture onto a snow board and a remote snow run, but all of encounter activities that  require us to have good stability and practice a daily routine of balance exercises.
